Ashlyn Wilburn | Kindergarten

First Year at ACA: 2024

Ashlyn Wilburn began her time at ACA in 2015, as the first and only upper school student! In her years at Moody Bible Institute (2019-2023), Ashlyn fell deeply in love with Scripture, literature, the world of academia, and children’s ministry, all of which are beautifully wrapped up in a classical Christian education. Upon her graduation in May of 2023, she moved back to Colorado, accepted a job as a children’s ministry director at a church plant, and married her husband, Mason. Gradually and gently, the Lord began leading Ashlyn to return to ACA. In September 2023, she began to work as a part-time paraprofessional in the Kindergarten and 1st grade classrooms at ACA, where she rediscovered her love for the ministry and community of ACA. It greatly delights her to teach Kindergarten full time this year.

In her free time, Ashlyn can be found reading, learning how to cook/bake new foods, playing volleyball with her husband, or practicing her violin.
