Victoria Cornell | Upper School Science

First Year at ACA: 2024

Embracing the classical model of education, Victoria was inspired by her love for God, children, and science. She is originally from Savannah, Georgia. She and her husband moved to Denver to share the gospel with neighbors and her community-at-large. A proud graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry, she was inspired to pursue a biochemistry career after her familial experience with autoimmune diseases and cancer. Prior to working as a Science Teacher at Augustine Classical Academy, she was the Quality Control Specialist at Vitro Biopharma where she was responsible for performing small scale and large scale stem cell culture and cryopreservation, cGMP processes, and quality control for clinical and research grade products. In her free time, she can be found hiking and backpacking with her husband, running, reading, and enjoying a laugh and conversation with friends.

“But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. ‘The Lord is my portion,’ says my soul, ‘therefore I will hope in him.’” (Lamentations 3:21-24)
